FEEDING DIRECTIONS

It is recommended that calves be given 2 to 3 quarts of goodquality colostrum as soon as possible after birth, and another 2 to 3 quarts within the first 24 hours of life. Second milking colostrummay be fed afterwards for up to 3 days. Starting on the 4th day,feed a high quality replacer according to the following directions.

MIXING & FEEDING
Into 2 quarts of warm (110°F) clean water, add 1/2 pound of milkreplacer powder and mix thoroughly. Feed approximately 2 quartsof reconstituted milk replacer at regular intervals TWICE A DAY.Calves will vary in feed requirements depending on size, age andweather conditions.

FOR BEST RESULTS
Provide CPC Calf Command at about 4 days of age. Follow feedingdirections carefully. Calves can be weaned when they consumebetween 2 to 3 lbs of starter feed for 2 to 3 days. Weaning time for smaller calves may need to be adjusted.

FEEDING DIRECTIONS

Provide CPC Calf Command at about 4 days of age and continue through weaning. Feed at arate of 1 lb. per 100 lb. of bodyweight daily to provide 22.7 mg Decoquinate per 100 lb. of bodyweight. Calves can be weaned when they consume between 2 to 3 lbs. of starter feedfor 2 to 3 days.

CPC Successful Start Heifer Program

Our objective is to increase long-term milk production and profits of the dairy herd by growing healthy, well-developed heifers.

CPC Success One

A fortified grain mix for growing dairy heifers on pasture. An 18% complete feed designed to grow, not fatten heifers. CPC Success One will provide for average daily gains of at least 1.7 pounds per day. CPC Success One should be fed along with good pasture or hay and plenty of clean, fresh water up to 400 pounds.

CPC Success Two is a natural progression from Success One for heifers that weigh 350-400 pounds. CPC Success Two is a complete feed that is designed to be fed in combination with pasture, hay or silage. FEEDING DIRECTIONS

Feed 0.6 to 1.7 pounds of CPC Success 2 per hundred pounds of bodyweight daily to provide 14 to 42 mg of Monensin per hundred pounds of bodyweight daily up to 200mg per head daily. Feeding rate will vary depending on animal weight and condition, forage quality and quantity, desired rate of weight gain and other management factors. Always start cattle on grain at reduced levels to provide an adjustment period, then gradually increase grain intake. Provide adequate amounts of forage, free choice mineral-vitamin mix, and plenty of clean, fresh water.
