CPC Licks

cattle-up-closeThe low-moisture process was developed to offer livestock owners a superior product for supplementing standing and harvested forages. This process removes over 96% of the moisture, leaving producers with 100% nutrition. CPC-LICKS are a blend of high quality ingredients that provide supplemental protein and energy, along with vitamins and minerals, in a palatable and easy to use form. Try CPC-LICKS today and see why cattle love them and producers rely on them!

Ideal for Livestock Producers looking for:

  • Improved Forage Digestion
  • Improved Body Condition
  • Improved Pasture Management
  • Increased Reproductive Performance
  • Improved Growth Performance
  • Herd Uniformity

Key Features:

WATERPROOF • WINDPROOF • WASTE PROOF

Highly Palatable: The high level of molasses and fat make a product animals will visit on a consistent basis.

Consistent Intake: The licking action along with saliva production only softens the top ¼ inch of block, allowing limited consumption. Once the top layer is consumed, animals must wait for the next layer to soften before consuming additional product. This process is unique to low moisture blocks and yields a product that cannot be bitten, chewed, or over consumed.

Enhanced Digestive Function: Numerous visits to the blocks throughout the day ensure a slow, steady intake of nutrients, which improves the digestive environment and increases the utilization of forages. The licking action increases saliva production which further aids in digestion.

Quality Ingredients: CPC-LICKS products are made from high quality ingredients handled and maintained in a way to assure nutrient integrity.

Weather Resistant: Rain, snow, or cold does not affect consumption. Moisture does not cause excess melting of softening of the products. Animals will lick any excess moisture off the blocks.

Low cost per head, per day: Low controlled daily intake of CPC-LICKS assures you a cost effective supplement.

Low-Moisture: The manufacturing process reduces moisture to less than 4%. Competitive products can contain up to 25% moisture. With CPC-LICKS, you pay for nutrition, not water.
